The 2011 Mercedes-Benz CL 63 AMG and CL 65 AMG super-coupes aren't the same as what came before. Not that it's easily apparent just by looking at them. But the old naturally aspirated 6.2-liter V8 in the 63 has now been replaced by a 5.5-liter V8 with a couple of turbos. The big numbers are 563 hp and 664 lb-ft. Sweet. AMG is keeping the V12 alive by retaining it for the 65. This one is also turbocharged and output has been hiked to 621 hp and 738 lb-ft. The latest AMG CL cars also get new safety features found in the standard models. Money: Nothing official yet, but 2011 AMG CL cars will be more expensive than 2010 versions (the CL 63 is currently $145,200, the 65 is $207,170). They will be available from November 2010.
