As the year comes to an end, the chaos that is "show season" tends to wind down. With most of the major car shows such as SEMA, Wekfest, Formula D, etc., completed there aren't many car gatherings left for the year except for toy drives and car meets. We're not complaining! People seem to be in a better mood around this time of year, whether it's the weather or just the holiday spirit.
Right after completing Targa Trophy's LA 2 Vegas event we went straight back to the OC for Airrunner's car meet in collaboration with Royal Origin, JDM Chemicals, and Kyoei USA. While it was held by an Airruner's HQ, it wasn't limited to just bagged cars or even VIP cars.
Our good friend Yogi brought out his Lexus GS300 that was dubbed the Internet destroyer. The infamous ITB Toyota Supra driven by Brendan Taft also made an appearance. On the high end of the spectrum, Phat Nguyen brought out his immaculate Porsche Cayman 987 and Mikey Yu cruised through with his baller Maserati.
The weather was on point, so Targa Trophy co-pilot Cindy Do and I rolled into Airrunner's with the widebody BMW Z4 top down. Keep throwing these meets guys. We will come. #TFTI
