SpoCom (Presented by Nitto) took over the Long Beach Convention Center and put on a show filled with some amazing JDM cars, hot chicks prancing around in bikinis and lingerie, and even a dance competition. But aside from the eye candy action, SpoCom adds a nice industry insider touch by including manufacturer booths to provide product info and demo the latest performance accessories, and we saw plenty of fresh gear from companies like Nitto, DME, Mackin Industries, Eneos and Tanabe/SSR to name a few. The show competition portion was tough, with entries ranging from the JDM Honda camp to over-the-top creations by multi-show winners High End Performance, Team Hybrid and even a small collective of VIP-styled rides. Even ol' Jonny got in on the act by making the show debut of his prized EF Civic, which earned many props from the OG tuners at the event. Rumor has it that Ron Bergenholtz liked it so much he's been considering doing a restoration job himself. That would be awesome. For complete show results, check out www.superstreetonline.com.
