The progressive rise of Puerto Rico's Honda community is undeniable. Locals have dedicated themselves to building some of the cleanest, most well-rounded builds you're likely to ever see, and for the JDM parts snobs, authentic goods are the norm on this island.
For the third year in a row, Javier Negron and Josean Maldonado, with the help of close friend Ivan Soto, put together a massive gathering of Puerto Rico's finest builds in the city of Hatillo. The third iteration of Los Duros brought about over 700 cars with foot traffic numbers well above 1,500. Although all types of imports attended, Honda was undoubtedly the staple of the event. High-end builds sporting B, H, and K swaps, plenty of power-adders and an incredible amount of authentic JDM, tough-to-source parts were proudly on display. With so much momentum after only three events, expect even bigger things from Los Duros 4!
