You'd be hard pressed to find a more dedicated and loyal group of enthusiasts than the Honda Accord community. Whether it's online, at a show or track event, or at a get-together--like the 2013 Cali Accord Meet--this tight knit group is as hardcore and committed to their chassis as they come.
After the success of their first event, Ralph, Alan, and a few helping hands from C.A.M. organized another meet dedicated to all year Accords and Odysseys.
Griffith Park in Los Angeles served as the meeting point, with a section of the massive park reserved strictly for attendees. Various Accord sedans, coupes, and wagons were on display, some sporting swaps, turbo set-ups, and in some cases, both. Jason Sutula's ITB, H-series swapped '97 sedan drew plenty of attention from visitors, as did Tommy Fitzgerald's infamous reverse-head H22 Odyssey from the Odd Swaps issue of HT.
C.A.M. organizer Ralph states, "This is the second year we have organized the event. This year we expanded the amount of registries by 67 percent, which equates to 108 people. In total this year, including spectating Accords that were parked off to the side, since registration sold out in a little over a week, there were approximately 250 Accords and 300 people. At the moment, we are looking at several locations in the Southern California area that will accommodate the growing event, as well as provide shade and a family friendly area."
