Every year Chris Pinedo and the staff of Norm Reeves Honda host a Honda meet and toy drive at the Honda Superstore in the Cerritos Auto Square. While the event is low key and doesn't draw huge crowds, it's a great event intended to help boost the toy count for the less fortunate via local children's charities. Free to attendees and spectators, some nice Hondas showed up in the early morning hours of December 8th and after arriving, dropping off my gift with the others, and grabbing some complimentary coffee, I was able to snap a few pics, enjoy:
ITR on Mugen MF10s along with Mugen front bumper, sideskirts, and 1st gen rear wing.
92-95 Civic EH chassis with complete Spoon theme including carbon fiber lip and wing, side mirrors and SW388 wheels and calipers. Under the hood is a B-series swap with Spoon valve cover, air filter, radiator hoses and spark plug wires to continue the theme.
Acura TL with just the right ride height
EH hatch with an authentic Mugen front lip (seldom seen nowadays) and NR10 wheels with Spoon calipers peeking through a few openings.
The Chief's 2005 Element EX features upgrades inside and out, front to back. Skunk2 cams and valvetrain, custom-mounted ARC intake, Tein coilovers, one-off paintwork and much more.
JDM front-end converted CRX with K20 swap under the J's Racing hood. Spoon wheels and calipers are a nice touch.
Bisi's Odyssey might have been the most talked about import from the recent SEMA show in Las Vegas. Supporters and detractors can't stop talking about turbocharged J-series powerplant in the most unlikely of vehicles.
