Import Expo 2013 - All Roads Lead To AC

Import Expo; Atlantic City Convention Center—Atlantic City, NJ

Jan 28, 2014

Impressed…is all I gotta say when I stepped into the Atlantic City Convention Center for the first time. The setting was Import Expo, a show that I’ve never attended nor really heard much about. It’s been a Canadian-only show for the last few years but I had the pleasure of being introduced to organizer Bret Zheng who gave me the grand tour of what his show was all about.

Since 2010, Import Expo has been creating an exclusive indoor event that showcases a great mix of track, street and show cars. His show in Atlantic City was just that, filled wall-to-wall with 400 of the East Coast’s finest rides. I chatted with many people who came out in support, most of whom were invited by Import Expo’s partner for this show, SNTRL. While many folks represented the Tri-State area, I also met many others who made the journey from as far as Chicago, Indiana, Atlanta and Florida. Having this event in Atlantic City was also a treat for out-of-towners as well with the number of clubs, bars and casinos in the area. Gave us tourists plenty of trouble to get into… What happens in Atlantic City, stays in Atlantic City!

Supercharged, matte and aired out!

With that said, I couldn’t have been happier to make the flight out from California to Jersey and look forward to what Bret has in store for us next.
