Nitto Tire Auto Enthusiast Day Details:
The annual Auto Enthusiast Day presented by Nitto Tire landed in a large portion of Angel’s Stadium parking lot in Anaheim, CA this past Saturday. With it came an eclectic mix of display cars and trucks. Rows of Japanese, European and domestic builds set the tone for what was a busy day of spectator traffic that began at 10:30am. Free to enter, Auto Enthusiast Day 2014 attracted the range of old and young gearheads heavily concentrated in the SoCal area. Within, lines formed for the Formula Drift demo rides that featured Nitto Tire drivers like Vaughn Gittin Jr. and Chelsea DeNofa and his E46 BMW 3-Series.
A cloudy but hot August day framed euro builds displayed by both vendors and car show entries. Vendors like Eibach Springs showcased its red E46 BMW M3 while the widebody Liberty Walk Ferrari 458 Italia built by LTMW grabbed continued camera attention as usual.
BMW proved to be the most popular euro platform found at this year’s Nitto Tire Auto Enthusiast Day. E30-E46 BMW M3 generations sat pretty throughout, as it appeared to be the most popular euro platform on site. A 2014 BMW M4 sitting on Forgiato wheels played nicely next to a clean Targa Trophy M6 safety car amongst widebody RWB and LTMW builds. The VW enthusiast scene was represented a bit in the car show with a handful of GTI builds as well.
The Nitto Tire Auto Enthusiast Day again proved a great way to spend a Saturday afternoon – for free! We are now deep into car show season and looking forward to continuing the hunt for euros. Enjoy the gallery below. See you out there!
