KTown Night Market Car Meet Details:
There are plenty of perks to living in California: the beautiful beaches, amazing weather, and the nightlife (See Sam Du's social networks for reference). With that said there are two things that Californians also do very well, build cars and eat.
It's true that the car scene isn't what it used to be. Safe to say that it is much smaller now, but those remaining are embracing it like no other before. It still shocks me to see young adults rocking baller wheels and air systems - something I can barely afford (Your financial aid should be going to books!).
But I digress; the food scene has also exploded. More people are turning to food trucks instead of the conventional fast food chains. Newfound foodies now regularly blow up Instagram. This past weekend these two groups joined together at the KTown Night Market car meet hosted by Pure VIP at the Angel Stadium in Anaheim, California.
Friday night our friend Michael Mao cruised through with his sexy twin-turbo Acura NSX and brought along a few other NSX owners. Our friends Ashley Clark and Tiffany Machuca helped passed out magazines and grubbed on sushi burritos from Jagosaki food truck. I know it sounds weird, but it's basically a fat sushi roll that isn't cut into pieces.
A lot more cars came the following night, including a few LTMW vehicles, a Lamborghini Aventador owned by Rob of Crooks and Castles, Karl Johnston's turbocharged Honda S2000 and Brendan Taft's NA Toyota Supra equipped with some really sexy ITBs. That night we feasted on Mama Masubi's super legit gourmet rice balls and Fluff Ice's non-traditional shaved ice, which supposedly takes eight hours to make. It really doesn't get any better than that. For the full story, check out the photos below.
