For the third year in a row the trendsetting car show giant, Wekfest, made its way to the Great Lakes region for another tour stop. Hosted at Chicago's iconic Navy Pier, which celebrated its 100th anniversary just two years ago, the event was held indoors and provided ample space for display vehicles, vendor booths and the large influx of fans that made their way to one of the most anticipated events in the region.
Like all Wekfest shows, the cars in attendance are determined by the staff prior to the event. This process of curating insures the organizers are bringing out what they consider to be the best of the best for a particular region. And as with any Wekfest show, there was no shortage of Honda hopefuls applying for acceptance.
As the venue filled and the metal and paint polish, tire shine, and plastic dressing were applied, photog Ryan Belville snapped some photos of the Hondas on hand for you to enjoy.

This CRX is a good example of the level of heat we expect from a Wekfest show. The RHD build-up features a spotless bay with a nicely detailed K-swap, custom paint, 5-lug conversion with painted Mugen MF10s, and more. High-level execution and attention to detail is always a solid combo.
If the boosted 2.0L GS-R swap isn't all that familiar, then you might recognize the white Regamaster Evos on this '92 Civic CX, which was featured in Super Street late last year
Still uncommon, even by today's overwhelming K-swap standards, this Integra DA featured K-power stuffed into a shaved and wire-tucked bay while the outside remained relatively stock beyond the wheels and drop.
We rarely see third generation Acura TLs at events, and at Wekfest Chicago they actually had two on hand.
Widened and fitted with Ferrari-style side mirrors, this RHD NSX sees a boost in performance by way of a Paxton supercharger.
Royce Fortier's '91 JDM NSX made it's way to Chicago for the big show and was featured earlier this year Since then, he's added a few new pieces like the APR rear wing and slick carbon fiber quarter panel ducts.
