Hundreds of enthusiasts gather at weekly Euro meets across Montreal, Canada during the summer months. The tight-knit community has been clamoring for a show to call their own for years, and in 2011 they were finally given Eurokracy.

Taking what they learned from years of visiting Waterfest and H2Oi, founders Rick Di Corpo, Jesse James Imbeault and Sergio Da Silva created a show that resembled the best of what the VW/Audi scene has to offer. The idea was to create a show that could surprise everybody, from the diehard Mk2 VR6 driver, to the show-stopping bagged ’n stanced fitment fan.

Attracting more than 1000 spectators in its premiere year (and in pouring rain!) from places as far as Chicago and New York City, the organizers brought popular events to the Autodrome St-Eustache – a race track close to Montreal. Activities included a limbo competition (won by Manolo Velasco’s bagged BMW Z4) and a burnout competition (won by DM Motorsport’s Mk2 Golf), while Best in Show was taken by Jeremie Arpaia’s 700whp widebody Mk4 R32 (et 3/11).

Sponsors such as Unitronic Chipped, AirSociety, AccuAir, Bag Riders and many more participated in the exploding air-ride culture that’s taken the Euro world by storm in recent years.

Whether you’re into showing off your ride, meeting and greeting, chatting to vendors, or just taking part in a fun day filled with kick-ass events; Eurokracy is a show to mark on your calendar.

The next event is scheduled for June 23, 2012 and is planned to be bigger and badder! (eurokracy.com)

Few recent releases have had such an impact on the tuner industry as the Scion FR-S/Toyota GT86 and Subaru BRZ. One could argue this fun RWD platform saved the tuning scene - illustrated at Tokyo Auto Salon the past few years.
