With summer heating up and show season swinging back into full stride, thousands found themselves flocking to Charlotte, North Carolina, for the much anticipated, Import Alliance Summer Meet. Although IA holds multiple meets throughout the show season, the summer gathering is by far the largest, and has been known to draw in varying enthusiasts from all over the eastern half of the country. This show was no exception.

After years of expanding and continuously overloading city-owned parking lots, the Import Alliance crew made the decision to host the meet at zMax Dragway for the very first time. Not only was the new venue large enough to comfortably fit the entire population, but it also facilitated one of the most organized meets to date. With short-waited entry lines, a generously shaded vendor village, and cheap food, attendees found themselves anxiously gawking over an endless parking lot of imports ranging from hella-flush to hella-functional for two straight days!

Whether you’re attending simply as a spectator or to debut the latest modifications on your pride and joy, Import Alliance will continue to expand and hold the title for one of the most-sought-after events on the East Coast. Mark your calendars folks, this meet’s more than worth the trip.
