Sept. 30, 2012 - Sendai City, Miyagi, Japan

Takeshi Kobayashi of Type K Autosource knows a thing or two about USDM versus JDM styling. Owner of a successful business, Type K Autosource, he specializes in importing OEM and aftermarket goods from the U.S. for his ever-growing customer base in Japan. Just as Americans claw for any- and everything from the land of the rising sun, there's a huge community of Japanese enthusiasts doing the exact opposite.

Takeshi organized a successful meet last year, and 2012 proved to be another smash hit, with over 270 cars in attendance. A virtual melting pot of OEM and aftermarket-clad builds filled the parking lot, and Takeshi's friend, Masahiko Shouji, was kind enough to share some photos with us.
