Importfest '16 may be done and over with, but the sweet cars and great vibe of Canada's largest show still has us feeling some type of way! If you haven't already, check out our complete write-up, as well as our spotlight on Jason Gale's Nissan 370Z. Importfest had so much more that caught our attention, so here are 10 additional cars that we think you'll appreciate.
1. Nextmod Acura NSX
Nextmod stole the show with their quality and quantity of cars. Our favorite from their camp was probably this black chrome NSX that featured a very rare Sorcery widebody.
2. V8 Toyota Celica
We nearly lost our heads when we came across this RA 21 Celica. Not only is it powered by a 2UZ-FE V8 from the Toyota Tundra, it's also twin-charged! (That's both supercharged AND turbocharged, kids.)
3. Mugen Acura RSX
Saying that this DC5 has "all the right parts" is an understatement. We were digging things like the Mugen/J's Racing aero, Moton suspension, and fully built K24 with Supertech valvetrain and Cosworth internals.
4. Pistonheads Productions Mazda Miata
We've seen all types of swaps into Miatas, but a Cummins 3.9-liter four-cylinder turbo diesel?! We can't wait to see this thing drift!
5. Jesse Beattie's Mazda Miata
The House of Kolor marble paint might be a love or hate for some people, but you can't argue the nice execution with its shaved bay, widebody conversion, and clean LS6 swap.
6. Rocket Bunny Honda Civic
More EG Civics are popping up with Kei Miura's Rocket Bunny kit but this particular example might have nailed it best with its color choice and TE37V SL wheels.
7. Skipper Nissan GT-R
Ahoy, skipper! You're looking at the first Skipper widebody on a GT-R in North America. Matched up with Vossen wheels and Air Lift air ride, this R35 had tons of people snapping photos all day at the show.
8. Jason Mendonca's Acura RSX
Jason's DC5 is one of the most popular Honda builds from Canada thanks to its Buddy Club WTCC widebody kit.
9. Pandem Lexus RC350
The Rocket Bunny and Pandem widebody kits just seem to be a perfect match for the Lexus RC coupe. This particular RC350 is rolling on Vossens.
10. "Did we just see that?" Mitsubishi Eclipse
We're not saying this is good or bad ... but someone actually spent the time and money to customize this third-gen Mitsubishi Eclipse and slam it with air ride on Work wheels!
