2006 Hot Import Nights Atlantic City

One Miss America Way Atlantic City, NJ May 20, 2006

On May 20th Hot Import Nights strutted its stuff along One Miss America Way, in Atlantic City NJ, for the latest stop along its tour. Tuners from all major areas of the northeast were given the chance to display their latest efforts by journeying to the city that’s “always turned on” for the show that never rests.

East coast tuning diversity was well represented, as a healthy mix of show, race and street cars could be found throughout, as well as many never-before-seen tuning efforts. True to last year’s theme, the clean and well-modified cars stood apart from the rest, and left with the trophies. Notable local efforts included Team Emotion, who took the “best club” honors, with many of its members claiming awards in different groups. DC-area AMS Tuning showed “how it’s done” with a healthy assortment of heavily modded Evo’s, while TWCompetition provided European support with its east coast BMW’s and Ferraris, among others.

As always, HIN brought along all the cars, models, DJ’s, and live performances that make up the HIN show. After this last show, HIN takes a month break before re-emerging on the east coast in Indianapolis, then moving on to New York. As the season moves on, look for Modified to bring you more east-coast coverage, as many tuners get the recognition they deserve after months of winter building.
