Wekfest doesn’t really need an elaborate introduction. After building a successful event in the Bay area, the organizers have collaborated with Fatlace to tour four other major US cities. The SoCal and Chicago shows were both a big hit this summer so we couldn’t miss Texas last October. Giddy up!
After hopping on a quick flight to Dallas, we drove half an hour west into downtown Fort Worth. If it weren’t for Wekfest, this city would be a ghost town because the streets were deserted leading up to the convention center. But upon stepping inside the show halls, our eyes opened. The venue was easily packed to maximum capacity with plenty of excited Texans and some pretty sick cars. People travelled from as far as Houston, Louisiana and Oklahoma to attend or show at Wekfest, and there was a good diversity of everything, too. Whether you were into stance, VIP, Hondas, drag racers or Euros, every crew was reppin’ hard. Y’all, enjoy some of the best cars here but also check out superstreetonline.com and our Facebook fan page for more.
Super Street Does Dallas
After the show, we headed back into Dallas for a night out at Bella 32 lounge. Special thanks goes to Johnny Nguyen and company for throwing us a bangin’ party. If you’re ever in Dallas, hit up The Dallas Social and Laced Mentality Entertainment on Facebook for a good time. We left Texas still slightly intoxicated…
