The sneak peeks ahead of the 2020 Tokyo Auto Salon are comin' in hot, and the latest to pique our interest is from the high performance purveyors at Top Secret Japan in Chiba City. Looks like they've got a slate of new and updated demo cars to flex, as well as fresh parts, goods and accessories that will be on display in their booth
Through their website and social media banter, we've confirmed a handful of Nissan GT-R, including their 1,100-horsepower Super GT-R 1100 Silver, a top-speed machine co-developed by Top Secret founder and famed engineer/driver Smokey Nagata some four years ago; the ride is kitted out in the company's version 2 aero setup for the R35, to go along with a second GT-R decked out in the tuner's M17 aero. Also on deck is their R35 powertrain-swapped VR32 GT-R Skyline that dropped in 2017, and something they refer to as an "F458EVO," which has our minds racing (is Smokey bringing a Ferrari to the show?)
Pictures from their garage reveal an A90 Supra that could possibly be making a TAS appearance, and it seems a Hakosuka Skyline GT-R with what looks like a much more modern RB26 inline-6 swapped and sitting snug in the engine bay. Odds are they may be selling their new 2020 calendars at their booth, as well, which reaches out "To All Freaks" proudly on its cover (um, ok).
If you're in Japan for the 2020 Tokyo Auto Salon, make sure to swing by the Top Secret booth (no. 1126) in the Makuhari Messe convention center's North Hall. The show runs from Friday January 10th to Sunday the 12th, and we'll have lots of coverage coming from the ground in Chiba in the days ahead.
