The fans have spoken and the votes have been tallied for the Toyota Dream Build challenge! This year Toyota has challenged four sponsored athletes to build their ideal car for their respected sport with winner announced at SEMA 2013 in Vegas.
Toyota invited Top Gear USA host Rutledge Wood to announce the winner and between the four competitors the motocross athletes Josh Grant and Justin Brayton won this year’s challenge with their “Lets Go MotoTundra.” We still most enjoyed the Crusher Corolla entry.
The team enlisted two shops that were over a thousand miles away from each other to build the ultimate motocross Tundra. It’s easy to see why - the rear of the car is where it shines. There’s enough room for bikes, a toolbox, and an entertainment area. “Well first off we thought it was a size contest, “ says Josh Grant. “This thing has all of our needs for testing and everything we do on the track. From a mechanics standpoint and a rider’s standpoint, it’s just an unreal vehicle.”
