It's back! SEMA is back and seems to get bigger and better each year. Sure, 2008 and '09 were dark days but, rest assured, the show has rebounded and the cars are getting crazier!
Luckily for us, the European market is growing by leaps and bounds. It seems as if everybody has graduated from Hondas and minitrucks to Porsche and BMW. Last year, we saw plenty of sophisticated creations along with parts we couldn't wait to get our hands on. This year, expect to see plenty of Euros promoting the latest tuner trends. Word of advice, you might want to stick around after the Global Rallycross event - last year the Hoonigan crew threw an insane afterhours burnout party!
The automotive community is known for its big heart when it comes to donations for a good cause. So every Christmas, car enthusiasts gather for holiday car shows across the nation to donate toys to less fortunate children.
Motor4Toys is no different, except in sheer size and geographic location. In 2005, for example, 5000 toys were donated, while in 2012 the number rose to 46200!
The goal for 2013 is to pass the 50,000 toy threshold, and thanks to sponsors like the Auto Gallery and Coastline Motorsport, cars like vintage Ferraris, modern exotics and local tuners turn out for a great cause and head into the holidays knowing a kid will smile on Christmas morning!
