Evasive Motorsports is a name synonymous within the S2000 community; their time attack S2K has set numerous track records in the past. Most recently, their newest demo car, an HKS-supercharged Scion FR-S time attack machine has gained notoriety among FR-S and BRZ owners alike with its unique styling and on-track handling that enabled a sub 2-minute lap time (1:59.2) and Third Place finish in the FWD Unlimited class at last year's Super Lap Battle/Global Time Attack Finals. Leading into the FR-S/BRZ industry hype, it was no surprise that Evasive decidedly hosted an FR-S and BRZ Meet and Dyno Day to promote the industry's newest performance car. Plenty of FR-S and BRZ owners, including a few who braved the long trip up Highway 15 from Nevada, partook in the festivities, which included plenty of Red Bull energy drinks, food, and car talk. The main highlight of the event centered on the Evasive Motorsports dynamometer. Owners were given the opportunity to test their cars on their Mustang dynamometer with a total of three dyno pulls scheduled throughout the day.

The dyno participation proved to be a success with a total of 16 FR-S's and one BRZ all making successful power pulls as fellow competitors and enthusiasts looked on. At the end of the day, it was Robert Kochis and his Scion FR-S equipped with a Vortech centrifugal supercharger pulling an impressive 209 whp and 160 lb-ft of torque at a modest 6 psi of boost, the highest horsepower number for the day. For those who missed the excitement, here are a few shots from the dyno day at Evasive Motorsports along with specs on each car and tasty dyno numbers. This collaborative spread of all 17 cars is beneficial for current and potential FR-S/BRZ owners, as they can visually record what bolt-on part combinations made "x" amount of horsepower. We've also included wheel/tire size, because its common knowledge that overall wheel, tire size, and weight will change how much power can be lost or gained. And wheel offset? Well, that was just an added bonus. We should also note that the automatic vehicles were dyno tested in Fifth gear to prevent them from mid-shifting, which might account for the slight increase in horsepower/torque over the manual cars, which were all spun in Fourth gear.
