West Coast Nationals Summer Warm-ups

Feb 5, 2014

Sacramento Raceway was the playground as local and visiting racers took part in multiple categories of competition. From basic test-n-tune, to SFWD, and even Hot Rod, the event offered payouts to the top competitors in each respective class. As drag racing on the East Coast and other parts of the country has continued to thrive, the West Coast has struggled to lay down a new foundation after the massive fallout that took place years ago. More participants have started to make their way to the track, while some of the veterans have also helped to give the Left Coast a hand toward establishing itself on the competitive front once again. Many of the fastest cars from the west travel all the way across the country to compete in crucial events. If the West Coast Nats and others have their way, they won't have to travel quite so much as the push for reestablishment is underway.
