Formula Drift Tech Day 2014 Details:

  • Annual Car meet and Formula Drift vehicle Tech Inspection
  • Free admission | 10am-5pm | 1733 Alton Pkwy, Irvine, CA
  • Food trucks, models, giveaways, vendors, car show
  • Mag Editors in search of feature cars

It is that time of year again to come join us at our Irvine, CA HQ for the annual Formula D Tech Day. 877 tuner enthusiasts have already confirmed attendance in what could become the largest Tech Day yet. While the focus of this event are the Formula D cars that arrive for a required tech inspection prior to the 2014 season start on April 4-5th, the heart is the large parking lot car meet centered around the garage. Import models, vendors, food trucks, giveaways and a feature car search feed into its annual success.

Last year we saw over 700 cars show up and kick back for the car meet. This year expect it to be even bigger! Food trucks in attendance will include Sexy Burger, California Grill Truck and Dos Chinos. Editors from Super Street, Import Tuner, Honda Tuning and European Car magazine will also be looking for their next feature cars to highlight in future issues.

Few recent releases have had such an impact on the tuner industry as the Scion FR-S/Toyota GT86 and Subaru BRZ. One could argue this fun RWD platform saved the tuning scene - illustrated at Tokyo Auto Salon the past few years.
