Now that the Formula D season has ended in America, those that still thirst and starve for drifting action can hardly wait for 2006. That is why the fine folks at Paramax brought over the XDL Show, to help quench that thirst and feed that hunger for more insane drifting action. Bringing over three of Japan's most famous drifters, Manabu Max Orido, Nobuteru NOB Taniguchi and Takahiro Taka Ueno, America's best were also thrown onto the track. Team Falken represented with Gittin JR, Calvin Wan, Hubert Young, Ryan Hampton and Chris Forsberg. But there was a catch - XDL decided to combine the insanity of drifting with the tricks of stunt bikers Kevin Carmichael, Kyle Woods, Jason Britton, Eric Hoenschell, Wayne Strickland, Shane Bragg and Jody "JD" Leonard. Spectators at the XDL Show also had a chance to ride in a drift car via the Falken Tires Drift Experience, drive a new Miata MX-5 in the Mazda Circuit Drive and check out the RC car drifting throughout the lot. Despite not being a real competition but more of a show demonstration, some of the drifters brought out some revamped cars. Calvin Wan was behind the wheel of the newly redone RX-7 that Tony Angelo had piloted all season long. Ryan Hampton's Team Falken Camaro had a few aesthetic changes as well.
