In what could be considered one of his strongest years yet, Dai Yoshihara kept the magic going as he turned in his second win in a row, further proving that he truly is the best of the best. So far, the changes made this year to the Discount Tire/Falken Tire S13 have all been significant - the Rocket Bunny aero giving it a fresh look, right down to the Mike Kojima-tuned KW suspension - and paid off big time. We'd love nothing more than to see Dai continue onward his victorious path and become a top placing finisher by the season's end.
But it wasn't just Dai's show alone. This was a huge win for Team Falken as teammate, Vaughn Gittin Jr. took Second place with his Monster Energy/Falken Tire Ford Mustang, and consequently enough, was also Vaughn's second Second place in a row, right after Dai. But Second place finishes haven't stopped this guy from maintaining his position as the Pro Championship leader since he's been on the podium since the beginning of the year. That means Dai's not gonna to have an easy trip to the top as long as JR's around. Third place went to Tanner Foust after he beat Darren McNamara in the consolation round with the Rockstar Energy Drink Scion tC.
