We're as little late getting our coverage up from Round 1 of the 2015 Top Drift pro-am championship, but we think what we have for you is worth the wait - one huge-ass gallery shot by the inimitable Luke Munnell. He captured the action-packed opener staged at Willow Spring International Raceway's (WSIR) Balcony on March 29th, where Adam Knapik emerged victorious over Eric Hill as they duel in similar LS V-8-powered Nissan 240SX (Hill’s an S13, Knapik’s an S14).
We hear there were over 60 drivers entered in the comp, with an eclectic mix of vehicle entries ranging from the common (S chassis galore) to the less so (reportedly there was a Ford 302-motivated BMW E36 among the mix). Driver Ryan Litteral accompanied mainstay judges Hiro Sumida and Taka Aono for round 1, filling in for an absent Justin Pawlak.
Get into the killer gallery, and look out for round 2 of the 2015 Top Drift pro-am series, set for May 24 at WSIR's Horse Thief Mile.
