Video – Bringing Home The Type R

Words from the team responsible for making the Type R in the U.S. a reality

You’ve seen the photos, read the comments, and maybe even had an opportunity to see the upcoming Civic Type R prototype in person during its 2016 SEMA Show debut in Las Vegas. Whether you’re siding with the positive or the always very vocal negative crowd that regularly sounds off on social media, the new CTR is in fact coming soon, and as promised will make its way to the U.S. in 2017. In fact, this month the production version of the 5-door hatchback is set to make an appearance at the 87th Geneva International Motor Show, marking another milestone in the global rollout of the hot hatch.

With all of the hype, rumors, and speculation surrounding the car, it’s only fitting the group responsible for bringing the Type R to U.S. soil give their thoughts on what it represents and why it’s so important to enthusiasts.
