WATCH - 2016 Super Street Show Car Shootout (w/Video)

The show-n-shine crowd shows what they’re really made of in Episode Two of Tuner Battle Week

Dec 27, 2016
Videographer: BOWLS Films

We put a call out to tuner show cars everywhere to bring their shiny, tire shine-lathered display vehicles out to Streets of Willow for a day of heated competition and an additional day on the dyno to see just how much power they were putting out. Once nestled comfortably on the red carpet at their local car show, this group was eager to show what their cars could do on the track. Naturally aspirated, turbocharged, four, six and even 8-cylinder vehicle owners answered the call to tackle the 1.6-mile, 14-turn circuit before hitting the wind tunnel dyno at World Motorsports, and they were even given a set of Ultra High Performance ExtremeContact Sport tires, Continental Tires’ newest offering.

The extremely diverse group included a Skyline, S2000, Hyundai Genesis, a pair of EVOs and more, which made for an interesting battle, but the real question is; who earned the bragging rights? Find out in the video below! And catch every episode of Tuner Battle Week 2016 on the Motor Trend Channel, December 26th through the 30th with a new video premiering each day!
