Hot Rod
Blasting inside his new Pontiac Sunfire, Marty Ladwig earned number-one qualifier status with a record-breaking 8.34 @170.62 Ben Johnson run. He did this despite having Naderi talk his ear off about random stuff that nobody cares about. The class also sported eight drivers, from Gary Gardella to Kenny Tran to Mike Crawford. The final round was quite anticlimactic with Marty breaking his transmission, forcing Mike Crawford and his '04 Dodge SRT-4 to run unopposed in the final round. Gary could've won if it hadn't been for his DuPont Civic throwing an untimely fuel tantrum.

All Motor
Running 20 competitors strong, the All Motor class was the crowd favorite, simply because there was a scary crash during Saturday's qualifying round, which involved Leslie Durst's Honda CRX and California Speedway's unfriendly wall. The wall was overheard saying, "I had to get ghettofied on the CRX. I don't play that crap. I keeps it real!" Naturally, the 20 contenders reduced to two, a battle against Scott Kelly's VW Fastback and Cloyse Holland's Honda Civic. The race was the closest of the weekend, with Scott passing the line at 10.62 @ 125.02 versus Cloyse's 10.76 @ 123.10. The most exciting part of the All Motor class was the fact that it signaled the end of the weekend, and eventually the start of spittin' more game at models. In the words of Lil' Jon, "YEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAH!"
