Mo Power To Sam I Am
Mopar announced that Swedish driver Sammuel Hubinette will be driving its 500+hp Dodge Viper in the Formula Drift championship series. Drifting originated in Japan, so to see domestic cars involved in the competition is a big steppingstone. We tried to grab Sammuel for an interview, but we couldn't come up with any questions that didn't involve the Swedish Bikini Team wrestling our edit staff in a pool of KY Jelly. For more information, direct yourself to www.mopar.com.
RO_JA Sees Ray's Of Light
The new RO_JA R2-5 wheels were unveiled in a booth filled with very badass cars. What's so cool about that? Well, the new RO_JA line of wheels will be manufactured by Ray's Engineering. Yeah, the same Ray's that makes wheels for Volk Racing, Gram Lights, and G-games. The five-spoke R2-5 wheels will be available in June with more to follow shortly. Can't wait to get your wheel fix? Head on over to www.rojawheels.com.
Underworld Element
As usual, Honda had its display of project cars like this Element built by Circuit Worx that features a race-prepped KA20 motor and an AWD MDX driveline. Wilder still was the LA Kings game where Honda had a luxury box. We don't even want to tell you where uncle Ro Dawg found one of these foam fingers when he woke up in the morning. Check out the new Honda cars at www.honda.com.
It's All About Stamina
If you thought drifting was bad, wait until you get a load of the JGTC. Yes, the rumors are true: Japanese GT cars will be ripping up American soil on December 18 and 19 at California Speedway. If you want to see some hard-core wheel-to-wheel race action, make sure you go check it out. Sorry, no NASCAR for Derrick "Domestic" Yee that weekend. Want more? Click over to www.jgtcusa.net.
Focus Your Eyes On Deez
If you have more than one Ford Focus, does that make them Foci or Focuses? While we were trying to figure that out for the past year or so, Ford was busy making parts for the Fast Focus catalog. The catalog will have everything for the Focus, from superchargers to body kits. More information on how to beef up your Focus can be found at www.fordracingparts.com.
Don't Sing It, Just Bring It
Super Street and Sport Compact Car actually worked together for once and threw our first Time Attack event on American soil. Cars like the Signal Auto R34 Skyline were ripping it up at Button Willow Raceway on April 7. Yeah, that was just a few days after IAS, and you probably missed all the action. Look for coverage on the Time Attack in next month's issue of Super Street. We'll be throwing another event soon, so make sure you read our magazine to stay updated. It'll probably be on www.superstreetonline.com too, but we wouldn't count on it.

Can You Smell What BFG Is Cookin'?
If you had a chance to wander outside of the convention center, the BFG Challenge was set up across the street. The Challenge gives enthusiasts a chance to put the BFG stickies to the test. Sadly, this is the only shot we have of the whole ordeal because Jonny drank too much cough medicine and couldn't pass the Breathalyzer test. You can find more info and dates for the BFG Challenge on www.bfgoodrichtires.com.
