Civic Live
To kick-off the new '06 Civic, Honda toured six major US metropolitan areas with their Civic Live tour. Focusing on the "Tuner" generation, the two-day action-packed event was more fun than, umm, driving a new Civic. Attendees who registered for free on Honda's Web site had the opportunity to test drive the new Civic as well as the entire '06 lineup. Other event activities allowed fans to meet local celebrities, showcase and cruise their cars, and catch a free concert. Performing at the Los Angeles tour was uber-rock band 311. Not to be confused with 411, 611 or 911.

2006 Ultimate Buyer's Guide
For those of you that have been living under a rock, with the exception of former despot Hussein, the new 2006 Ultimate Buyer's Guide has hit your local newsstand. This special collector's edition features over 1,230 products (1,231 to be exact!) scoured from the ends of the Earth that all you Super Street junkies may not have known existed but will need to have! From accessories to aerodynamics to aesthetics to adding-power-agents the book comes loaded heavier than a super-sized value meal, sans the cholesterol.

If the amount of products is not enough of a draw, we managed to squeeze in several of the coolest cars and sexiest seoritas you've ever laid eyes, hands or paws on. So for those of you that haven't purchased a copy yet-its time to crawl out that tunnel, get probed by the gloved doctor toting the tongue depressor, shave that unkempt beard and run out and peep the new Guide. We guarantee it'll be the most fun you can have for under six bucks.

Ebay Integra Sold!
Mark DeLay from Long Beach, CA, was the lucky winner of the eBay Charity Challenge auction. With a winning bid of $12,100, DeLay is now the proud owner of a tricked-out '94 Acura Integra. When reached for comment he exclaimed, "This Integra is butt-freaking-tastic!" We hope he's not talking about the smell.

This is a photographic fake; they've cut your brother's legs off.

The Need, The Need For Speed
Art met reality recently at the California Speedway in Fontana, California, and they hit it off pretty damned good. And, no, "art" is not some dude from the cow country and "reality" isn't some stripper at the local Spearmint Rhino. We're actually talking about Kumho Street Warriorz and Electronic Arts' Need for Speed: Most Wanted. See, if you were following along correctly, this is one of the few times a video game partnered up with its real-life counterpart, and it was quite an event. On the track, Kumho let tuners from across Southern California run their cars down the quarter mile just because they can. Called the Kumho Street Warriorz, the nationwide event also brings in a car show, music, and of course semi-hot import models. Adjacent to the strip was the launch event for the new Need for Speed game, which features tuner cars running away from cops, just like a typical day in L.A. The guys at NFS:MW also brought some stars to market the game, like the fine breezy from Van Helsing, Josie Maran, actor Anthony Anderson, supermodel Tyson Beckford, who can easily be mistaken for mediocre R&B singer/actor Tyrese, and DJ Funkmaster Flex. They were there to cheer on the regional finalists from the Need for Speed: Most Wanted Blacklist tournament. Jesse Butler, who was on the Super Street Tour and who won the Atlanta regional, was also in attendance to gawk at Josie Maran. Thankfully, resident stalker/wannabe pickup artist Roel Concepcion was there to stop his madness.
