Recipe for a dope event: throw in a car show, have it Halloween-themed, mix in an amusement park and dash it with free admittance. Shake, stir then serve.
This past October, Scion opened the doors to Knott's Berry, for one month Scary, Farm-a So Cal amusement park turned Halloween-themed experience-for loyal owners of the subcompact kind. Starting with a huge car show at dusk, the festivities drew Scion owners from miles away, packing the huge parking lot with xAs, xBs and tCs that were from bone stock to full out shock-many decorated in Halloween regalia.
Once the sun set and the park doors opened, Scion let in 2,000 guests for, get this, free. Scion owners roamed through the ghoulish mazes and rollercoaster-filled park-the scariest of which was the innocuous looking, stomach churning Wipeout.

Hybrid cars are very popular now because gas price is very expensive. In USA, Toyota Prius is very popular and people are waiting to buy it for six months. Many Hollywood stars have Toyota Prius. Wait! Don't say Prius story is no good for Super Street! I would like to introduce Prius racecar here. Prius racecar's weight is 2,464lb (stock is 2,794lb), 0-60mph acceleration is 8.7 sec (stock is 10.9 sec) engine is 1500cc (same as stock) which makes 99psi/6500rpm (stock is 77psi/5000rpm), Motor's maximum voltage is 550V (stock is 500V), maximum power is 82psi/1200-1540rpm (stock is 68psi/1200-1540rpm) It sounds like very simple tuning but it is difficult to build a Hybrid racecar. Why did Toyota build the Prius racecar? Toyota's opinion is Hybrid sports cars will be popular in the future. Lexus LS600 Hybrid will sell in the Spring of '07 in Japan and will have a V8 motor which means other Toyota engine can combine with motor. Some Japanese car magazines say next generation of MR2 will be Hybrid. It is just a rumor, but it is possible. GTR Meet
Seeing a Skyline GTR is rare, well, unless your Seoulman that is. But for most of us, seeing one GTR is like witnessing a twin turbocharged unicorn-finding a herd? Damn near impossible. But thanks to a GTR magazine meet held at RB Motoring, the intimate event drew over a dozen GTRs. And since one of our staffers owns a Skyline, we scored a special invite to the "R" chassis exclusive event.
Besides the JDM photographer snapping GTR pics, RB Motoring opened up their facilities offering refreshments as well as a tour through their GTR part-filled garage. When the cameraman wasn't looking we managed to smuggle these photos like a bushwacking paparazzi. www.rbmotoring.com
