Import Showoff - San Diego CA

The 2000 Del Mar Import Showoff took place the weekend right before the SEMA show. Despite the unfortunate timing (the top show cars had already been shipped to Vegas), the event still had plenty to look at, and enough attendance so that nobody left without a date. Well, except for me. With many of the usual suspects preparing their cars for SEMA, there was more space to check out some of the lesser known vehicles that are usually overlooked, yet not forgotten. Slammed suspensions, colorful paint, and immaculate detailing still maintain a strong presence. I managed to peel myself away from the go-go stage long enough to snap some shots of the cars, while Rich "I arrive early to get the best pictures" Chang, weaseled his way in before the show to get some uncluttered shots. If you missed the show this year, don't miss out on the next showoff cuz it just keeps getting better.
