Race Show Report Hot Import Nights

With lines longer than a new ride at California Disneyland, Hot Import Nights was already a hit. Bundled in five layers of warm winter gear, Jonathan and Josh watched scantily clad women roam around like it was summer time in Ibiza. Their camera equipment was colder than Otter Pops, yet the environment was hotter than Kobe Tai in a dunk tank. The staffers slowly snaked their way through the maze of cars, people, and laser lights toward destination base camp Super Street. Photography wizard Wesley "Da Kine" Allison was busy dodging the hordes of women who were lined up to be shot, when Josh then realized that he lost Jonathan to a mob of angry breakdancers who had a head-spinning score to settle. Hip hop and techno heads were in the house checking out the latest in street fashion and the fine-looking women in attendance.

As the sun stays in the sky longer and Moe's facial hair grows faster, we're starting to smell hints of Tour 2001 in the air. Between watching episodes of Jackass and Temptation Island, we'll all be ready. Josh hopped on a bird to Vegas for a day to find the latest and greatest electronic toys. CES, which had a host of audio goodies on hand, offers products that'll shake your fillings out and piss off more of the neighbors.

NIRA is blasting out of the hole this year with more quality events than we can fathom. With more hot racing action coming to a town near you, you can bet that racers will be slapping on their slicks and turning up the boost for the year to come. Road racing is back in a big way. This age-old sport spawned much interest with the staff-Moe was caught in his office making "vroom vroom" noises with his toy cars and Daniel was spotted "mouth-breathing" for hours over a stack of applications on how to join the SCCA. So, keep your feet on the floor and your eyes on the road, because this is just the beginning.
