Tour 2001 is so close you can taste it. Literally. Reports have been flooding in from across the country of people digging into lunch and sensing the distinct funk of Super Street. What can we say? Tour 2001 is more than an event, it's a force of nature: So if you haven't made plans to join us on the Tour yet, you better do it now, because the clock is ticking.
The Tour will consist of three legs, each one winding its way across the country until it hits the NOPI Nationals in Atlanta, Georgia, on September 15 and 16. Starting from Miami, Dallas, and Philadelphia-each leg will be like a little slice of Import heaven with plenty of parties, prizes, and hi-jinks for the whole family. To top it all off, we'll be throwing an enormous party once we make it to Atlanta, just for Tour 2001 participants. You won't want to miss it! Keep checking www.superstreetonline.com for the freshest and most up-to-date info available.
The Greatest Show on Earth
Check out the cool stuff we've got planned for each leg of Tour 2001. You may want to check with your doctor before ingesting all this excitement.
North: Both APC and MTX Audio will be bringing their big rigs to help us blaze a trail to Atlanta. Honda will be the official car of the North Leg and will be bringing along a new RS-X and 2002 Civic. Custom Import Performance will be sending its '96 Civic project car. Plus meet the Konig reps and get in on some wheel giveaways.
South: South Leggers will be treated to a racing demonstration by Cyberspace Automotive and local SCCA members. Lightning Audio will have its Honda Prelude show car for you to fawn over. You'll also get to enjoy the company of the Supra and Maxima from The Fast and the Furious, and will be joined by the owner of these fabulous cars-the legendary Craig Lieberman.
West: Joining us on the Mazda West Leg will be none other than Kenny Tran, who will have his Jotech prepared race car on display at Enkei, Steph Papadakis, who will be raising the roof and break dancing, and Shaun Carlson, who will be manning the sno-cone machine. Modern Image and Ballistic are bringing Mazda MPVs and Porn Star will debut its Hung Low springs. Enkei will also be bringing the wide-body 300ZX and a Japanese spec 2000 Silvia (one of only two in the U.S.!).
