What a great day. After we put one over on ol' Ed Rooney we borrowed Cameron's dad's Ferrari 250 GTS California and drove into the city. We went up to the observation deck of the Sears Tower, the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, one of the finest French restaurants in the city, the museum, a Cubs game, and we even performed "Danke Schoen" and "Twist and Shout" at a parade. But the best part of the day was when our girl stripped down to her skivvies for a delicious little romp in the pool.
OK, maybe that didn't happen to us, but we can dream, can't we? Much like the sportos, motorheads, geeks, sluts, bloods, wastoids, dweebs, and peckerheads, we do adore Ferris and think he's a righteous dude. And if a Hot Import Nights show was going down when he took the day off there is no doubt Ferris would have been rockin' a Day-Glo Civic with Sloane Peterson draped seductively across the carbon-fiber hood.
At McCormick Place, the Team Funtabi and Red Zone crews were in full effect and two of the stronger tuners in the Place were Driver's Image Import Tuning and Body Works Auto Body Tech. While Bob Mull's sick Cavalier took best of show, John Hickman's MR2 Spyder in the Meguiar's booth made us pitch our tents faster than Pee Wee at the movies. Jordan may not make the big plays in Chicago anymore but there was plenty of play at this HIN.
