Once the convention center doors close at 5 p.m., we're only halfway through an ordinary day at SEMA. Here's a little peek at what we have to endure during the afterhours of SEMA week. Last year, we were thrilled to be supporters of three separate parties: Honda's Industry Soiree, Formula Drift's 10-Year Anniversary Party and the Sony Gran Turismo Awards. These top-notch parties left us with blurry memories and painful hangovers. In fact, we're not sure where all of these photos were taken but we hope you can join us this year to join in on the fun!
It's a little hard for me to chat about the SEMA nightlife, as I believe by this point I've just about successfully erased the majority of the heinous crimes I committed on my liver from my foggy brain. Thankfully, we were surrounded by cameras the majority of the time allowing me to partially piece together the general experience. First things first, what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas...unless you work for Super Street, right? No. Honestly, all I can really say is try to imagine doing the Vegas experience while having everything entirely free from Seagram's to sea bass, all while bouncing around from club to club with your closest industry friends. A headache it was, and after four nights of stumbling into my hotel room around 4:30 a.m. and being rudely awakened by a screeching 8 a.m. alarm clock, it was time to run away from Vegas until 2014. -Matt Jones
