For the last few years we've been making the flight out to Hawaii on the regular. Not because, we're sippin' on pina coladas on the beach, but they have one of the most hardcore and growing tuner communities in the United States - that's even taking into account there's no race track on the island of Oahu, plus residents have one of the worst regulations to deal with in terms of police enforcement on modified cars. Despite these setbacks though, we are continually surprised with the quality and quantity of cars and enthusiasts that show up to shows like SpoCom.
This is the show series' fifth time on the island and each time the show gets bigger and better. Packing Neal S. Blaisdell Center in Honolulu, there was no shortage of entertainment with several local and mainland models in attendance including favorites like Jeri Lee, Ashley Vee, Janis True and Ryan Oso. Plus, newcomer from Houston, Texas Vicki Lee stole the show as she won the bikini contest (full feature on her comin' real soon!).
There was a diversity of cars as well from a strong Honda showing, VIP, drift theme, old school and more. So enjoy our mega photo gallery here and stay tuned for an upcoming issue of Super Street with a more detailed report on some of our favorite cars. Mahalo bitches!
