Battle Of The Imports - 2000

This was the first time in 2000 that Mother Nature allowed Battle to happen. And the weather in Palmdale was actually bearable. The crowds were a little smaller than the norm-maybe it was the fact that two previous events had been rained out, or maybe there was a South Park marathon we didn't know about-but Battle of the Imports was still a great event.

Fans got the chance to see the likes of Adam Sarawutari, Lisa Kubo, Tony Shagday, Jojo Callos, Tony Fuchs, Roger Scalise, Bisi Ezerioha, and a number of other drivers in the Pro classes. Drivers in the Sportsman Eliminator classes had the opportunity to get more time trials and even had access to a "time only" lane after being eliminated. All in all, it was a good weekend, and Battle again held its reputation for being unpredictable.
