And while Ricky was jonesing for some Hell in a Cell Judgment Day action, no chair shots or choke-slams were issued. In fact, all of the parties present were uncharacteristically PC and instead, we were treated to an enlightening session. At the end of the day only one question remained: Will this sport support four separate sanctioning bodies?

And the Winner is...
Our own Howard Lim and SEMA's Carl Sheffer presented special awards on behalf of Super Street and SEMA as a way to thank certain manufacturers or tuners who made a substantial contribution toward both the show and the market as a whole. American Honda, Best Motoring, Ford, General Motors, Mazdaspeed, and Signal were just some of the recipients. Ricky was later seen huddled in a corner sobbing gently with his unread acceptance speech. (There was something in my eye.-RC)

Mr. Spoon Meets Mr. Glad
There were a variety of Japanese tuning giants at IAS and one of the biggest was Tatsuru Ichishima, the president of Spoon Sports. Jonny couldn't even rustle up the courage to speak to Mr. Ichishima and Nads could only talk to him in the...annoying...way ...that...he...thinks...non...English...speakers...can...understand. It took Digital Doug and his trusty camera boy, John Adolph, to get the exclusive interview with the big Spoon himself. If you want to see the video check out this link: Video
