Nopi always packs more than a car show. It brings a full event so that everyone has something to do throughout the weekend. A lot of us didn't get to go last year and we're still kind of pissed about that. This year, make plans to head over to the Atlanta Motor Speedway to check out the greatest car show on earth. Don't forget to bring some cash for the Planet NOPI truck. It's OK if you spend some cash, have some fun for crying out loud. Plus there's so many competitions to enter and win more money back.
Dyno Contest
Sure the thousands of cars in the car show may look pretty but how much power do they have? It's all about power-raw power. Strap your car to the dyno and see who's car is the baddest of the big boys. Just to keep it fair, force induced cars compete with each other, four bangers against four bangers, six shooters against six shooters, and you can figure out the rest. See if you have enough gall to lay the smackdown on the dyno's candy ass. Jimmy said that if you're too scared, he'll bring out one of his Bit CharG mini cars and throw that on the dyno to show you what a real enthusiast is all about.

Bikini Contest
Probably, no wait, make that definitely the Super Street staff's favorite part of the NOPI show. What do we need to say about the bikini contest that isn't self-explanatory through the pictures? Oh, maybe that none of these girls will ever go on a date with Ricky. But don't forget to come early, so you can get a good spot at the front of the stage. Maybe you can borrow a towel from the hotel so you can wipe up your drool. We know that's what we're going to be doing. God bless these contestants for looking the way they look so they can do whatever they do that makes us feel the way we feel. Too bad we can't go near any of them.
Burnout Contest
We don't know how much money you spend on tires, but here's your chance to spend even more. The burnout contest is a NOPI tradition. Whoever can make the most smoke wins $500 each day. That's $1,000 during the whole weekend, for those of you busting out your calculators. So light em up and make the crowd go wild. We bet you're wondering about classes and if it makes a difference what kind of vehicle you have. A truck, car, SUV, or moped? Don't sweat it, because it doesn't matter what you drive!

Don't make Jimmy have to bust out his '80s ghetto blaster to show you guys up. We know you have the huge woofers and high wattage amps, so do something with them. Well, something other than cruising up and down the strip pumping your bass and waking up retired couples that go to bed at 7:30 p.m. Or having bass wars in the local Vons parking lot. How about entering the Sonic Boom sound competition. This way you can blast Colin's N'Sync CD all you want while he does the robot in the background. With the competitions divided between IASCA, USACI, and dB Drags, there are way too many classes for us to list.

Doesn't NOPI make our peoples wanna jump, jump? There's money and prizes to be won everywhere at NOPI, especially by making your car jump up and down like a Dr. Dre video. That's only if you're down to the switches and collect all the riches. With over $9,100 in prizes, plus awards, what do you have to lose? Maybe your lunch, but with all the money you'll win, you can buy dinner for all the girls you're going to meet. So tell your girlfriend to bring her blouse and her pumps, cuz the mack daddy will make her jump.
