Aside from running around and getting routinely strip-searched at the terminals of the O'Hare airport, I haven't seen much of this crazy state called Illinois. When my ride got there, I ran around the airport like an excited little boy on his first trip to an adult bookstore. I soon grew tired of my running antics however, once I found out that Sonny and Samad forgot where they parked the car. After walking down every single aisle, we found it. I briefly looked at my things-to-do list and didn't notice "get lost in airport parking lot" as one of the entries. That's going to have to replace the "bring back Chicago pizza for the staff" entry. As we drove through Chicago to Palatine, I started to realize two things: First, Chicago looks strangely like every city I've ever been to. Second, I'm not going to get anything done on my things-to-do list.
Well, that's not totally true. I did make it to the Beyond the Limits 2 show thrown by Team City Limits (TCL) at Harper College. The hot girlies were minimal but the cars were plentiful. I'm not sure if that balances out or not. More girls is always a plus though. Some say that I was lucky enough to experience the Midwest weather. I think the weather only changed from cold with overcast to smoldering hot about 20 or some odd times. I foresee definite potential for next year's TCL show since they're moving it indoors. Who knows, maybe these guys can make the show super huge and sell it for, like, $3,000 or something.
