Where Paul was relaxing between rounds, the Titan team was struggling with first, a popped head gasket, and then later some obliterated axles and suspension components. As Mark and the Titan crew worked hard between rounds, all of the other competitors could only wait for the two Supras to take charge.

In the finals, Mark put forth a valiant effort with a 9.63, but it wasn't enough as Paul turned the wick up even more to click off an 8.552 @ 165.25. BFG sponsors the class and the two top cars were on BFG Drag Radials. Isn't it just super when things work out this way? As far as these two Supras are concerned, this looks like the start of a beautiful rivalry.
