The TSX proved an invaluable companion and a right proper leader for our epic north leg journey. We felt a little bad when we drove through the gale force rain and wind with the windows down and the sunroof open, and in retrospect, it probably wasn't a good idea to teach Jonny how to drive a stick shift in the TSX as the clutch smelled a little funny when we arrived in Atlanta. Oh, Matt, if you're reading this, disregard all that nonsense about the soggy interior and the melted clutch, you know how we like to ham it up for the readers. By the way, can we have a car for The 2004 Tour? An NSX will do just nicely.
Yee-Haw!If you went on the north leg this year, then most of you probably saw the luxurious Oldsmobuick "photo vehicle" being pulled over just outside of Greensboro, North Carolina, as we made our way to GMP. No, it wasn't because two mysterious Asian men accosted a Caucasian man and proceeded to do bad things unto him, but rather because of Derrick "Twinkie" Yee's high speed antics while trying to catch up with another pack of cars further up the highway. It just goes to show that speeding in states other than where your license was issued is a huge no-no, unless you have enough cash on hand to pay off The Man.
