Every year Mitsubishi owners from across the country flock to the company's headquarters in Southern California for a meeting of epic proportions. Nowhere on earth can a more impressive collection of Mitsus be witnessed and this year certainly didn't disappoint. Fortunately this year we were able to join in on the fun with our own Ralliart Sportback project car.
Unfortunately with some of the best Evos in the country in attendance our little wagon wasn't the most impressive car in the lot. Sierra Sierra made an appearance after officially being clocked as the second-fastest time attack car in the world at the WTAC event in Australia. Ryan Gates was also on site with his newly vinyl wrapped 2-face Evo X that he is campaigning in Super Lap Battle and various time attack series across the US.
On top of all the great cars on display there was also a dyno contest where the brave would push every last bit out of their engines, sometimes ending in catastrophic failure, in pursuit of prizes. In-n-Out Burger was also on the scene to make sure that no Mitsubishi owner went hungry. That's right, as long as you own a Mitsu and show up to MOD your burger is on the house! With a laid back attitude and huge support from the tuning industry MOD is one of the better run make-specific shows out there - if you missed it this year it's definitely worth the time to check it out in the future!
