Toyota Owners and Restorers Club Car Show - Toyota Fest

I can't think of another car show that is as diverse as Toyotafest. From old school cars, to compacts, to sports cars, to luxury cars, this is the all-in-one show. All categories were filled with the best and strangest (Scion class) from all over the country. Just as they've been doing for 15 years, the TORC (Toyota Owner's and Restorer's Club) put on nothing short of a dope-ass meet.

Toyotafest is a great reminder that the Toyota family has been tuning and modifying cars since the very beginning. Crowning the family was the LFA on display at Lexus' corporate vendor booth. If you haven't seen one in person yet, you must. Several other vendors had booths at the show as well, such as AEM, Tokico, Auto Fashion, Cusco, and even Source Interlink Media, with yours Trieuly.

But the booth I look forward to seeing every year is the Mooneyes booth. Although the brand is usually associated with domestic hot rods, Mooneyes has a branch in Japan, where they're just as popular. This year they brought out their yellow 1960 Toyota Crown and their white 1964 Toyota Crown Pick-up to the show. As every year, I couldn't help but buy something from them at their booth, which is always filled with cool Mooneyes accessories and parts.

Big thanks to TORC for throwing another great car show, not to mention a car show that was 'free niney-free'. If I'm asked to help judge the show again next year, I'll try not to eat all their food and drink all their drinks.
