Every spring, we hit up the beautiful Queen Mary in Long Beach, CA for Toyotafest. Put on by the Toyota Owner’s and Restorer’s Club aka TORC, it’s not a show where you’re going to find the newest or craziest project cars. It’s a show built on tradition and continues to display no signs of dying as it hits an epic 17 years. The event mixes everything great about the Toyota brand, whether it’s old school Celicas, the later Supras and MR2s, to the newer Lexus and Scion products. It’s all about the community as everyone comes together with no stress or drama—they just want to rejoice everything Toyota. While most of the cars come year after year, it was the first time many got a chance to see an FR-S in person, including the sexy Five-Axis FR-S. toyotaclub.org—SD
