Since 2006, the annual Import Alliance gatherings have become some of the staple tuner car events of the North American car culture. The entire family of events, which started off with an outstanding turnout at the inaugural event in Nashville TN, have grown steadily over the past few years. Each time the day of the show finally arrives, massive amounts of cars and enthusiasts wake up early, pound a few cans of NOS energy, and make the journey—for some, its more like a pilgrimage—to the biggest Eastern Seaboard car show of the summer. This year’s event at Charlotte Motor Speedway in Concord, NC held true to form with a massive amount of cars and fans flooding the gates of the raceway on July 28th and 29th.
