To keep up with the high amount of torque generated by the 4G63, an ACT 6-pad race disc coupled with its Xtreme pressure plate are bolted into the transmission, while a B&M short shifter is used within the cabin for shifting maneuvers. And keeping up with the aesthetics of the exterior, APR installed it's own carbon fiber radiator cooling plate and from Carbin Craft, and engine and timing chain cover.
With a main focus geared towards road racing, APR saw fit to heavily modify the suspension and interior to proper spec. At all four wheels, Tein's FLEX dampers and the EDFC give a hard, but manageable ride, while APR's front upper strut and lower chassis Flex bars, Hotchkis Tuning's rear sway bar, and Autopower 6-point roll cage keep chassis movement to a minimal. Behind the 18x10.5 Racing Hart Cp-035Rs, a Project Mu braking system, featuring the SCR-PRO two-piece rotors and Type HC-Titan KAI brake pads provide on-call stoppage. Inside, you won't find much for comfort, but if you're a racer, then the Recaro Pole Position racing seat, MOMO Trek steering wheel, and Autometer gauges will be all that you'd need to be pleased.
Thou as of press time, the APR Evil-R Evo 8 has yet to compete in any Time Attack related events. Even for a work in progress, this car already displays a great winning presence. Just imagine what it will do once it's completed.
