That's why he turned to Brembo for some quality stopping power. He installed a set of Brembo cross-drilled and slotted rotors on all four corners. Working with the rather crammed rotors are a pair of Nissan 300ZX rear calipers and a set of Brembo Evo VIII binders in the front. This brake setup also helps the sticky Dunlop Direzza tires stop before the sexy Silvia front end crashes into any unsuspecting cars and/or walls.
But then again, powerful braking isn't needed if there isn't any power under the hood. The clear next step for German was to chuck the KA engine as far as possible. He decided on installing the ever popular SR20DET under the hood. And if you look for the phrase "Label Whore" in the dictionary, you'll find German's picture underneath it. Case in point is the amount of GReddy products German used to fix up his SR20DET. First, let's talk about the upgraded T88 turbo, manifold, and Type C wastegate-- all GReddy. The H-Beam connecting rods, cams, rocker arm stoppers and pulley kit?
All GReddy, of course. It's not a bad thing because if I had the cashish to wear a pair of Louis Vuitton briefs with a matching Gucci jock strap, I'd do it in a heartbeat. Naturally, German also used other non-GReddy products like the Optima red top battery, Power Enterprise coolant hose, Blitz front mount intercooler, and Cusco oil catch tanks to help make 556 hp minus the NX nitrous kit. And with names like these, German's picture earned a spot under another phrase in the dictionary: "JDM Whore."
Putting the finishing touch to his ride, German went with an interior and audio layout that'll be sure to give you double-takes. Inside are a set of Blitz racing seats, Nismo pedals and steering wheel, and a custom red/black suede interior. The interior also features enough gauges to make Apollo 13 look like a three-wheel trikey. From the GReddy oil and water temps to the SARD fuel pressure regulator, German has no excuse to ever blow up his engine. The bumps inside the car can make Nads' lovely lady humps jump up and down. Again, German went with an all-exclusive set up, using only Pioneer to fill his ears with audio glory. From the DVD player to the speakers and subs, German will go deaf in no time.
Overall, German's Nissan 240SX is undoubtedly unique with a complete blend of power, sounds, and style. It's a reflection of his organization as a businessman and his determination to build it right the first time around. Too bad he's from Texas...HAHA, I kid, I kid. Or maybe not. Hey, just be thankful I didn't even mention Dirty Sanchez once!
