Something Tells Us This Isn't A Straightforward Bolt-On
Unlike most other Honda engine swaps, you can't just buy a HASport mount kit and call it a day. To mount a F22C into a S13, you have to modify the subframe for clearance, as well as the cross member, which enables you to move the engine further back and allows for room to fit in a radiator and intercooler. The transmission mounting points for the KA24 and F22C are actually fairly close to one another and require little modification to make the F22C transmission bolt in. The best part about having a F22C in a S13? More room, and it doesn't get in the way of the steering rack. Other parts that need retrofitting or alterations: power steering pump, driveshafts and shifter location.
